The Survival Center’s staff, with combined experience of over 90 + years, has provided preparedness supplies to peoples across the U.S. and the globe. Shipping is world-wide including customers in Australia and Russia, to name a few. Our warehouse and shipping department manages our large inventories to facilitate prompt turn-around on orders. We do our best to avoid back-orders. Our phone center provides ‘real people’ and real customer service.
Started in the early 1970s, the Survival Center has stayed in business even after Y2K, which saw the demise of most preparedness businesses. In addition, we have the knowledge and experience which has been garnered from actual work with preparedness products and consumption of survival supplies, testing shelf-life and quality.
Our products are gathered from a variety of sources to meet the needs of our customers in their preparedness endeavors. We seek the highest standards and have actually used the majority of products available. We frequently do ‘trials’ which test products’ endurance, shelf-life and efficiency. In response to the need to get ready, Uncle Richard with the Survival Center developed two resources to assist you in getting ready. The first is:
“Basic Preparedness” a book designed for those just getting started, but is also a valuable resource for the already prepared. This is where most start in learning what to do and how to do it. "Basic Preparedness" is a how-to manual that almost takes readers by the hand and leads them through the basic steps of preparedness for most any emergency that may come their way. This one book covers the basics plus more. The first four basics for successful survival are:

This easy-to-read how-to book addresses all of these needs in the first four chapters with easy to understand, simple instructions. Then, the following chapters cover the basics of shelter, grain usage & storage, food processing, homesteading, alternative energy, self-defense & sovereignty for a self-sufficient life style plus an index and glossary. Also included are essential food and household recipes for self-sufficiency, such as bread, making deodorant, soap, laundry soap and toothpaste.
